Dear Mr. Betts:

Because the Redevelopment Agency Board will be taking action regarding the purchase of Site E on August 8, and in that the WPAC’s next General Meeting is scheduled for August 10, a Special Meeting was held on July 26 so that the PAC could come to a consensus on this important issue.

The WPAC is recommending the following:

·        Site E – The WPAC feels the process for selecting a developer for Site E should be followed, without modification, as it has been followed for every site within the project area.  Further it is the position of this advisory committee that the process has been clearly violated in several instances by members of the RDA Board.

A motion was made, seconded, and unanimously approved which states: The Westside Project Area Committee recommends in the strongest terms that the City, Westside subcommittee, and RDA Board honor the established process regarding Site E development without any modification of said process.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the Westside PAC office Monday through Wednesday from 9 to 5.

Sincerely,

Lee Adams

Coordinator/Westside Project Area Committee
